1992 Honda Prelude Engine Diagram - Which Section of the Brain Is Located at Stage 4 at the Diagram? ? In most cases people understand the positioning of the parts of the brain that are used for certain functions but not the location of the other pieces. The use of every part of the brain differs depending upon the person. The arrangement of the brain is an indication of that part of the brain is responsible for that function. Gyrus - The largest area of the mind and is in charge of motor function, vision and language. It's the part of the brain that processes the visual information you see when you open your mind. The gyrus also processes the words that you hear. The gyrus plays a role in language as it is the part of the brain that understands the meaning of words. Thalamus - This part of the brain has three major parts. 1 part is the bulb that is located behind the eyes and can be responsible for vision. The other two chief parts are the thalamus and the corpus callosum. The thalamus joins the left and right hemispheres of their brain and is also where the cerebrum that controls muscle movement connects with the cerebellum, which controls the motor control of the body. The parietal lobes are responsible for the recognition of voice, face and movement. If you were to look at someone and turn a light round to illuminate the face you'd see their eyes, mouth and the form of their face. When a individual is faced with a particular situation they activate the parietal lobes. The temporal lobes are also responsible for hearing and recognizing sound. If you turned on a television to see a movie and the picture went out there could be a chance that you missed seeing some thing. Globus Pallidus - The globus pallidus is a portion of the brain that contains two parts. The most well-known part of the globus pallidus is the amygdala, which controls emotions and memories. The other part of the globus pallidus is that the thalamus, which can be located near the bottom of the skull. Occipital Lobes - This part of the brain is located just above the eyes and is responsible for motion, eyesight and being able to distinguish color. The parietal lobes contain the area we use to discover color. The occipital lobes may be seen when someone looks up and seems down and it permits them to be able to focus and point. Parietal Cortex - The part of the brain that is responsible for facial recognition is that the parietal cortex. It's the part of the mind which controls facial recognition. The section of the brain that controls our sense of touch is the somatosensory cortex.
